Ogden, Utah - The Weber State University Coach's Corner, produced by Power Media Group, is being picked up by FOX College Sports Network (FCSN).
Starting Sept. 6th, the half hour coach's show will air Thursday nights at 8 pm and again Saturdays at 6:30 am on Channel 262. The WSU home games will air on Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m. on Ch. 262. The TV shows are produced by local advertising firm, Power Media Group.
"We are thrilled the showcase Weber State nationwide," said Stephanie DeGraw, Power Media CEO.
The informative TV show is in its 3rd year covering WSU football and basketball seasons. It will still be carried on Comcast On-Demand and Channel
111 and online at www.northernutahtv.com.
Fox also requested to carry the WSU home games produced by DeGraw's firm on Thursday nights at 6 pm on Ch. 262.
Sponsorship from local businesses will be needed to cover the costs involved in producing all programs.
"I'm sure our community will step up to support WSU so we can put them in front of a national audience, there are more costs involved in our new partnership with FOX," DeGraw said. "This is a great way to draw positive attention to Ogden, Utah."
Bill Marcroft, broadcast veteran, returns to interview head football Coach Ron “Mac” McBride.
McBride will share the spotlight with various coaches, players and game highlights throughout the season.
The WSU basketball team will also be covered featuring Coach Randy Rahe.
Host Marcroft said the show format includes all WSU coaches showcasing their specific teams, offensive and defensive,and provide analysis of past and future games.
He added the coach’s analysis will let fans follow the progression throughout the season.
